The Deputy Chief Executive is responsible for the following teams:

  • Strategy and Programming Team
  • Policy Managers (Programme)

In addition, through the role of Chair of the Policy Leaders Group (PLG) and responsibility for strategy and programming of the Ministry, some of the key responsibilities of the DCE include:

  • overall policy strategy
  • quality of policy development
  • prioritisation of work
  • programming and allocation of resource to key priorities
