Petrol excise duty and road user charges to increase on 1 August 2012

The Minister of Transport has announced an increase to petrol excise duty and road user charges that will take effect from 1 August 2012.

Petrol excise duty will increase by 2 cents per litre while road user charges rates will increase by 4.1 percent on average.
