Biofuels test results released

Transport Minister Steven Joyce today announced the results of corrosion testing on bioethanol blended fuel on aluminium engine components.

These simulate the use of bioethanol blended petrol in vehicles previously used in Japan and found that this fuel caused no adverse effects with blends up to 10 percent.
