Regional Transport Committee workshop 31 March 2009

On 31 March a workshop for the five transport objective and cultural representatives of the Regional Transport Committees was held in Wellington.
The purpose of the workshop was to explain their roles and responsibilities brought about by the Land Transport Management Amendment Act 2008 and to update them on the Government’s emerging transport policies and strategies in relation to their roles and responsibilities.
The workshop was jointly organised by the Ministry and the New Zealand Transport Agency with assistance from Local Government New Zealand.
