Vehicle recyclers selected for vehicle scrappage project

Following a call for expressions of interest in April, the Ministry has selected Wellington Scrap Metals and Metalcorp Ltd, Christchurch as the two participating vehicle recyclers for a planned vehicle scrappage trial.
The trial vehicle scrappage project will be run in Wellington and Christchurch and is planned for May. An announcement of the full details of the trial will be made in the coming weeks.
