Safer Journeys - Road Safety Strategy to 2020

Following nationwide consultation, the Ministry of Transport is working on the development of Safer Journeys, a road safety strategy to take New Zealand through to 2020.

The comments and views received from the consultation are being used to develop the final strategy, Safer Journeys. This will be a guiding document for road safety, and will identify the appropriate mix of interventions for improving road safety. It is planned to be released in December 2009.
