Quality of the data The counts and estimates in RAMM are updated periodically so the estimates may not reflect either traffic growth, or responses to events such as oil price shocks
The regional totals will NOT equal the national estimate, nor are they as accurate at a national level
Local road RAMM count and estimate maintenance cycle frequency differs across the country, as does the quality of the data loaded
The MoT and NZTA have commissioned work to provide an improved process for capturing and maintaining this data, but the approach is not rolled out yet
