The monthly crash statistics report provides an update on how many people are killed or injured on our roads every month.

Each monthly update includes the following provisional data:

• road deaths
• deaths and Police reported injuries by age, sex and type of road user
• trends in road crash casualties and fleet compared to 1990
• crash outcomes and road user behaviour
• factors contributing to crashes - ranked by social cost*
