Transport Knowledge Hub seminars
The Transport Knowledge Hub has been set up by the Ministry of Transport to provide an open environment where members can share transport data, evidence, knowledge, research, information, capabilities, and ideas. New Zealand Local Authority Traffic Institute annual conference TRAFINZ
The New Zealand Local Authority Traffic Institute (TRAFINZ) represents local authority views on road safety and traffic management in New Zealand. It exists to lobby the government, to influence decision making on road safety and traffic issues. It also acts as a forum for collectively pursuing traffic issues of interest to local authorities, and for sharing information and advice. TRAFINZ organises annual conference to gather TRAFINZ members and interested parties to discuss a range of transport issues and policies. Australasian Road Safety Conference
The Australasian Road Safety Conference merged the annual Australasian Road Safety Research, Policing and Education (ARSRPE) Conference and the annual Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS) Conference.

Australasian Transport Research Forum (ATRF)
The ATRF is the principal transport research conference in Australia and New Zealand. It brings together transport researchers, policymakers, advisors and practitioners from a range of disciplines to share and build upon the latest research and thinking. The conference is held in a different location each year.

International Transport Forum Events
The International Transport Forum (ITF) at the OECD is an intergovernmental organisation with 59 member countries. It acts as a think tank for transport policy and organises the Annual Summit of transport ministers. The ITF organises global dialogue for better transport and acts as a platform for discussion and pre-negotiation of policy issues across all transport modes. ITF analyses trends, shares knowledge and promotes exchange among transport decision-makers and civil society, via a range of roundtable events and working group meetings. The ITF’s Annual Summit is the world’s largest gathering of transport ministers and the leading global platform for dialogue on transport policy.

2017 Transport Knowledge Conference
The fourth Transport Knowledge Conference was run as a precursor to the 39th Australasian Transport Research Forum (ATRF) at a combined event during 27-29 November 2017. The combined event was held at the University of Auckland and had over 260 domestic and international attendees from academia, public and private sectors.
2015 ITF Annual Summit
In 2015, New Zealand held the Presidency of the International Transport Forum. New Zealand was represented at the Forum’s Annual Summit by Transport Minister Simon Bridges.
2014 Transport Strategy and Research Seminar
In November 2014, the Ministry of Transport held a strategy and research seminar. The seminar explored the future demand and funding for transport, as well as transport statistics, forecasts and trends.
2012 Australasian Road Safety Research, Policing and Education Conference
An annual event which provides an opportunity for road safety practitioners, researchers and police to meet and discuss the latest road safety activities throughout Australasia.
