2019 Transport Knowledge Conference

The 6thTransport Knowledge Conference was held in Wellington on 5 December 2019.

The conference aimed to promote the use of evidence in decision-making. It brought together the transport research, data and evaluation community with government officials and policy teams from the across the wider transport sector. 

The theme was ‘Transport’s contribution to wellbeing and liveability’.

Australasian Road Safety Conference

The Australasian Road Safety Conference merged the annual Australasian Road Safety Research, Policing and Education (ARSRPE) Conference and the annual Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS) Conference.

Australasian Transport Research Forum

The ATRF is the principal transport research conference in Australia and New Zealand. It brings together transport researchers, policymakers, advisors and practitioners from a range of disciplines to share and build upon the latest research and thinking. The conference is held in a different location each year.

International Transport Forum

The International Transport Forum (ITF) at the OECD is an intergovernmental organisation with 59 member countries. It acts as a think tank for transport policy and organises the annual summit of transport ministers.

The ITF organises global dialogue for better transport and acts as a platform for discussion and pre-negotiation of policy issues across all transport modes. ITF analyses trends, shares knowledge and promotes exchange among transport decision-makers and civil society, via a range of roundtable events and working group meetings.

The ITF’s annual summit is the world’s largest gathering of transport ministers and the leading global platform for dialogue on transport policy.
