AR021 Cost of international air transport vs salaries and wages

Although there have been some bumps along the way, mostly corresponding to changes in the price of jet fuel (see AR022), the cost of international travel has not changed much over the past two decades. Relative to salary and wage rates, international air travel has become more affordable.
