Section 220 of the Civil Aviation Act 2023 requires the Secretary to maintain a register of airport operators.

For each airport operator the register states

  • the aerodrome and any other area that the registration of the operator under section 222 covers
  • the name of the operator
  • when the operator was registered
  • if the registration has been suspended or cancelled, that fact and the date on which the suspension or cancellation took effect
  • any space requirements that apply in relation to the airport operator
  • whether a regulatory airport spatial undertaking has been accepted under section 243
  • any other prescribed information.
