Consultation period extended
Based on feedback from stakeholders and the wider public, we have extended the consultation period for Enabling Drone Integration by two weeks.
Submissions are now due by 5pm, Friday 4 June 2021.
Public engagement
You can hear from us and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) officials in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.
Open afternoons will be a chance to ask questions and chat with staff from the Ministry and CAA about the proposed series of regulatory measures. Registration is only required for the open afternoon in Wellington.
Presentation and Q&A sessions will be a formal presentation by Ministry staff followed by an opportunity for you to ask questions and provide feedback. Registration is essential for all of these sessions due to limited numbers.
