PTOM review public consultation
Public engagement
Come along to the PTOM review engagement sessions to hear about the review, ask questions, and discuss the issues in the Discussion Paper.
The Public Transport Operating Model (PTOM) governs the way regional councils and Auckland Transport plan public transport services and purchase them from bus and ferry operators.
The Ministry of Transport is running engagement sessions as part of public consultation on the PTOM review. This session will be focused on issues and options to improve the framework for planning and contracting public transport services. This will include how changes to PTOM can help councils achieve the Government’s decarbonisation targets.
We will provide a link to the online event to registered attendees prior to the engagement session.
This session will give you an opportunity to hear from Ministry officials about the review, and will provide a forum to ask questions and provide initial feedback on the issues and options presented in the PTOM Discussion Paper.
You can find the Discussion Paper and associated documents on the Ministry of Transport website here: https://www.transport.govt.nz/area-of-interest/public-transport/public-transport-operating-model/(external link)
We are inviting RSVPs as space at the venues is strictly limited.
