What you need to know
On-time performance is an aviation industry measurement, defined as a flight departing from or arriving at its destination within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure or arrival time.
Our monthly reporting covers:
- Domestic jet flights between Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Queenstown and Hamilton, operated by both Air New Zealand and Jetstar.
- Other domestic jet and turboprop flights operated by Air New Zealand and some regional airlines.
- Flights on routes between New Zealand and Australia where there are two or more airlines operating.
Airline contributions to these reports are voluntary and do not currently provide a complete overview of all flights across New Zealand. In addition, there are other caveats, data limitations, and considerations outlined in sections 2, 3 and 6 of the reports.
On-time performance reports are made available on this site monthly.
